Born and raised in Manchester, now enjoying life in North Wales. UK-based photographer, artist, speaker, workshop leader, and a respected authority in iPhone photography. Adrian has dedicated over twelve years to capturing images with an iPhone and have been engaged in creating digital art for more than thirty years.

Angi is a previous member of Gosforth Camera Club so will be known to many in the audience. She has willingly agreed to present to us as a bit of an exclusive. Due to her ill health, she finds presenting very tiring so we are very honoured she has agreed to do this for us.
Angi’s passion is for close up, macro, nature and still life. She produces a lot of her photography from home using a mini studio in her dining room with award winning results.

She has been solely devoted to Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) work since 2017. She has a strong desire to build a larger community around ICM photography...one that will also help give exposure to other photographers who have been dedicated to perfecting their own ICM techniques, whether that be strictly in-camera work, in-camera work coupled with traditional post-processing techniques, or ICMs in combination with creative post processing, such as textures, creative filters, and impressionistic renderings.

Which Members will volunteer (Be Press Ganged) into this evenings entertainment.....
Pecha Kucha
A story telling format originating in Japan. The presenter shares 20 images each displayed for 20 seconds while providing a commentary. The slides advance automatically giving the presenter a total of 6 minutes and 40 seconds to convey their message.
This evening provides a wide range of topics and gives a lot of insight to members and their hobbies.

Tue 4 Mar 2025 - Ian Hill: Narrative, place and photography
Ian Hill is based in Cumbria and works in Black and White 35mm film
He takes photographs in the landscape, not of the landscape. Creating narratives about place, about human interactions with the land, about our emotional responses to landscape.
Where he lives the hills of the Lake District decline westwards towards the sea. It is a place of weather and wide skies, of stones and bog and low hills of heather and bilberry.
His photography is very firmly rooted in this landscape.
