Face to face meeting with local photographer Craig Strawbridge. He will be presenting his talk ‘Scales, Wings and Metal Things’ and covers two main areas of photography, aviation, and wildlife.
Craig an amateur photographer and a full-time ecologist working around the UK on major infrastructure projects including rail, highways, nuclear and MOD land to protect our wildlife during any works. His travels allow him the opportunity to photograph some of our rarest most protected species (under licence). In his spare time, you’ll him out in the hills photographing jets and wildlife with the occasional aerial shoot included.
Craig will talk about his experiences with aircraft and how he has obtained shots and videos that can’t be shared on social media. He will then talk about Wildlife, focusing on ethics, misunderstood species, such as his favourite Adders and how photographers have such a great opportunity to make a real difference to the conservation of our remaining wildlife.
