Our own Nick Lambert will present a selection of his own photos from 2026, aiming to provide information and inspiration in preparation for the Club’s photo walk on Saturday 14 November.
Starting with images of empty streets, then looking at adding elements such as people, dogs, street musicians, dedicated followers of fashion, smokers and lovers, in locations near and far, Nick will discuss, amongst other things, composition, when to opt for mono, when to major on colours, looking for special viewpoints, and how to present an image which makes an immediate impact but also leaves a lasting impression.
He will also talk about getting the subject’s permission and share his own experiences on the images which he has chosen.
Nick’s presentation will conclude with a short case study and an outline of the arrangements for the photo walk.
