We were able to represent the Northern Counties Photographic Federation at the recent Inter-Club PDI competition in Warwick for only the second time in this PDI competition, which is contested by the top photographic clubs from around the country - up to three clubs from each regional federation. As expected, in the final competitive round, we did not reach the top group of eight clubs competing for the cup following the morning rounds, however all of the other clubs compete for the 'Plate' trophy in the afternoon, where we were placed joint 26th out of 40 clubs. This is always a very closely contested competition (three more points would have placed us joint 16th) between some of the premier clubs in the UK, so it was a good result and reflects well on the rising standards of our members.
